Kabbalah & The Tree of Life cont.

Each world contains a complete Tree of Life and these are inter-connected in a particular kind of way. Each succeeding World Tree commences from the centre of the previous one, at Tiphareth, which thus becomes the Kether of the next lower world. The World of Atziluth emanates from the centre of the major Kether, the top half of which forms the so called ‘Veils of Negative Existence’.

 

The centre column depicts the 10 Sephiroth as the Ladder of Lights and gives rise to the 32 Paths, with the Malkuth of Assiah (the bottom left Tree) being Path 32.

 

This is still only a two dimensional representation of something that is actually multi dimensional, but it provides a further insight to the way in which existence is viewed within this tradition. (Note that this structure is different to that found in some earlier books on Western Kabbalah, where the world Trees were stacked on top of each other, which was incorrect.)
